Perspective
To treat defects of serveral cm dimension successfully we developed a biological matrix that is endued with a private vascular system. Applying our biological capillarized matrix (BioCaM) it is possible to generate viable implants of 10 x 4 cm size for Reconstructive Surgery. The BioCam has been studied extensively in animal-testing, but has been applied clinically solely in experimental therapy.
